Drape cleaning is something that can be done one of two ways.
First way is to clean the drapes while they are still hanging. This is the most efficient way to clean them especially if you are in a commercial setting.
The second is to take the drapes down and clean them. This is the best method if there are large stains or pet issues.
Both ways have their benefits. With the first way, as stated above, it is easier in a commercial setting where the drapes are needed, such as a hotel/resort setting. When cleaning while hanging we use a special cleaner designed for drapes and then extracted with a small extractor made for cleaning drapes. This system works great when maintaining clean drapes is a priority.
Removing drapes and cleaning them while they are not hanging should be done if there are major issues with the condition of the drapes. We still use the same system as if they were hanging, but this method allows us to better work on the trouble areas.
